This year The Big Wheel’s Big Day Out promises to be bigger and better than ever. The gorgeous grounds of Nottingham Castle are the venue of this spectacular day which promotes sustainable transport and a healthy lifestyle to those living in and around Nottingham. It’s also the guarantee of a great day out!
This time around the event is going to be jam packed full with DJs, environmental art, drumming and circus workshops, a literary corner with brilliant story tellers, street performers, football displays, gymnastic displays. And if this is all gets a bit too much you can head over to our ‘Healing Zone’ for an Indian head massage! We will also be playing host to the Luminarium ‘Levity II’ from Architects of Air-a huge inflatable sculpture where you are free to roam around its chambers and domes of ever changing colours.
Surely there’s no better way to spend a Saturday afternoon? No matter what your age The Big Day Out promises to supply something for you to keep you occupied. Just relax in the castle grounds with a picnic or give some of our tasty organic and ethnic food a try, get yourself a check up from our health professionals or find out all there is to know about walking and cycling. The choice is all yours!
